All donations made through the Alabama Knight of the Sun Program for the benefit of the Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation are 100% tax-deductible as allowed by law.
For $50.00, an Alabama Knight of the Sun can be purchased in Honor of a distinguished individual that you admire and wish to recognize or in Memory of a deceased brother, friend, or family member or in the Name of another organization.
All Alabama Knights of the Sun come with a certificate signed by the Sovereign Grand Inspector General or Deputy in Alabama. The certificate will contain both the donor’s & honoree’s names.
With the purchase of your first Alabama Knight of the Sun, you will receive a special lapel pin that can be worn at any time. You can purchase as many Alabama Knights of the Sun as you’d like. The Orient Office will keep a record of how many an individual has purchased in the Sentinel Database under their membership profile and in increments of five (5) you will receive a fob to attach to your lapel. When you have enough to qualify for your next fob, you will be required to turn in your current fob to the Orient Office to receive your new one.
