To the Scottish Rite Orient of Alabama,
I would like to take a moment to give my thanks and appreciation to the brethren of Dothan Valley for selecting me to represent our valley at the 2022 Grand Commanders Fellows Program at the House of the Temple in Washington, D.C. Also, a big thank you to Deputy Illustrious Bro. Terry Wester for having the confidence in me to represent the Orient of Alabama. I am beyond grateful and honored to have that opportunity and I am very humbled. Thank you! The experience in August 2022 was mind blowing and truly a dream come true! I had the opportunity and privilege of visiting The House of the Temple and meeting our Scottish Rite Grand Commander Illustrious Bro. James D. Cole. I also had the privilege of meeting other Scottish Rite Fellows from across the United States and it was a great opportunity for networking. I learned more about the Scottish Rite and how the Supreme Council operates. The most enjoyable and humbling part of the trip was being able to tour the House of the Temple and actually sit in the main temple room where so many distinguished brothers have been before me. The experience was amazing and emotional. I hope to see the Orient of Alabama continue to participate in this great program and I encourage all future Fellows who may be chosen to not pass up this great opportunity for growth as a man and as a mason. Thank you all again for allowing me to participate in this once in a lifetime experience.
